Scandic Ariadne This hotel lies by the Värtan ferry terminals, 10 minutes’ drive from Stockholm city centre. It offers free Wi-Fi, gym and sauna access, plus city views from its sky bar. The guest rooms at Scandic Ariadne have a private bathroom with shower. All are equipped with satellite TV and Pay TV access. Some also include a seating area. The Sky Bar overlooks the city while the Mistral restaurant features harbour views and an outdoor terrace. It serves an organic buffet breakfast, and a Swedish dinner menu with international influences. All younger guests receive a welcome present. In addition, Ariadne has a children’s playroom with toys, films and computer games. Scandic’s mini-shop sells drinks, snacks and toiletries. Gärdet Metro Station is about 15 minutes’ walk from Scandic Ariadne. The metro ride to Stockholm Central Station takes just 6 minutes, and buses for Ropsten Metro Station stop 200 metres away. Scandic Ariadne is certified as an environmentally friendly hotel.
