Stockholm’s City Hall

Palazzo Municipale di Stoccolma

Stockholm’s City Hall is one of Sweden’s most interesting and imposing structures. In addition to its striking architecture and artistic ornamentation, Stadshuset is also renowned for the annual Nobel Banquet that takes place in the Blue Hall. The building also houses the Golden Hall, whose walls are adorned with gold mosaics, as well as the Viking-inspired Council Chamber, where Stockholm’s councillors meet. City Hall can only be visited with a guide.

Daily guided tours take place as follows:
October-April: 10am and 12am
June-August: 10am, 11am, 12am, 2pm, 3pm
May and September: 10am, 12am, 2pm

The City Hall Tower, which is 106 meters tall, offers a fantastic view of Stockholm. It opens daily from May to September, 9am-4.15pm
