Nobel Museum Stockholm

Piazza del Nobel Stoccolma

One of the world’s most fascinating museums resides behind the palatial facade of Börshuset, in Gamla Stan. The Nobel Museum tells the history of the world’s most prestigious award. Here you will enter a world of diversity and creativity. This contemporary exhibition concentrates on Alfred Nobel and the over 800 Nobel Prize Laureates. As part of the exhibitions, visitors can watch any of 40 movies about creativity and the Nobel Prize. As an added bonus to your museum visit, you will have the opportunity to see the inside of one of the city’s most beautiful buildings. Börshuset was built in 1778, home of the old stock exchange and also served as the municipal hall. Stock exchange operations continued there until 2000.
