
Prins Eugens Waldemarsudde, formerly the residence of Prince Eugen (1865-1947) is nowadays a popular art museum. Prince Eugen was among the finest landscape painters of his generation and an art collector of note, with special emphasis on contemporary Swedish art. The Collections number around 7000 works and comprise painting, sculpture and crafts objects.
Throughout the year, a selection of Prince Eugen’s own art and works from the Collections, are displayed. The Prince’s beautiful private apartments and park are always on view.
